SUNSHINE, Sand and SMILES!

Packed our bags, loaded the car, and hit the road at 7pm on Tuesday night.  21.5 hours later which included a few stops, we made it to south Florida and found some happy family members awaiting our arrival!  The kids did surprising well on the trip (probably because we drove all night).  We spent the first couple of days hanging out with family and soaking in the sun.  It was wonderful waking up to the sunshine and warm breezes.  Coffee and breakfast in the yard was heavenly.  What a wonderful way to start our Spring Break!
On our first full day, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and took a trip to the Miami Metro Zoo.  The day was going wonderfully, until my phone fell off the stroller and within a matter of 5 minutes someone swiped it and tried to leave with it.  Somehow we got them to answer the phone and after offering them a reward, we showed up with some zoo staff and got my phone back!  We were done after that.  The kids still had a wonderful time!

We spent alot of time in the backyard, playing, enjoying the breeze and coloring eggs for Easter.
love this picture of Gabi.
On Friday Arnold took the day off and we all headed to the Ft Lauderdale beach.  The water was a little chilly, but it was a perfect day for lounging.  The kids loved playing in the sand, water and searching for shells.  We had a wonderful day!
