9/3/09: went to see the doctor for a regular monthly appointment and it was great. baby "sharky" is doing just fine. the doctor was nice enough to do another in office ultrasound (with pictures this time) and it was so neat to see the baby being a lil squirmy wormy! It's amazing how beautifully formed babies are this early in a pregnancy. Baby's heartbeat was 146 (and I was Quickly reminded by the doc that it has NO bearing on the baby's sex) =). a little of our (OK MY) anxiety is lessened now (especially since we are past the first trimester). we are so excited and so in awe again with this lil miracle.
here are 2 of the baby's pics. First is the profile (head is on the left side... and you can see the baby's jawbones!) The second one is the baby laying on it's back with a view of it's face and left arm up on with lil fingers on the top of the image! enjoy!
