We took an unplanned trip to Mapleside Farms today. It turned out to be a beautiful Fall day! Our adventure started out on the giant slide, then off to bounce some, then a little ride on the MooLar Express. We then explored the corn maze and read all about Spookly's adventure! After a final hay ride (the scenery was amazing), we headed up to the Jump Park. Great way to spend a gorgeous Sunday afternoon!

Dd is for ....
D I N O S A U R !
On Tuesday, I had the opportunity to go to Will's Kindergarten class to work with the kids for the first time. Each week, a parent comes in to do a Letter Of The Week craft. I had the letter "D", and what else would be better than DINOSAUR for my little man! Will and Isa both tested out the craft the evening before (to make sure it could be done easily and in the time allotted!)I found many cute ideas on Pinterest and rolled with a little mix of them. Using my Cricut machine, I cut out all the D's, then made all the cut-out pieces for them (I had the kids cut them out), and set aside a piece of construction paper for them to attach it all to. Will was SO excited to have me in class and did a great job explaining to everyone all about the Stegosaurus DINOSAUR we were creating! So fun!
The kids all did great, and were so proud of their final creations! Next up will be the letter "U"... need to start brainstorming!

party benefits
One of the great benefits of our party this weekend was being able to spend fun times with family near and far! J, H and kids made the drive in from Dayton (and I think Isa couldn't have been more excited). After the party, we spent the rest of the afternoon and evening at Mom and Dad's just relaxing. Tob and his siblings got a chance to hang out. The little cousins had an amazing time reconnecting. We all had a fun time reminiscing, watching videos, and catching up! Perfect!

Pinkalicious Party!
Isa had a wonderful birthday party. This year her theme was Pinkalicious! Isa loves the Pinkalicious books, and LOVES pink... so it was a perfect fit! We loved having the party at a location (easy clean up!). All the kids had a great time, and Isa was in heaven playing and jumping around with her family and friends! A birthday girl perk was that she got to cut in line for any activity she wanted to do. The good part was that there were plenty of activities for all the kids, so there was seldom a long line for anything!
Isa was also so excited to celebrate with so many of her favorite people. She was especially excited that Annie, Millie, and baby Owen made the trip from Dayton! She was sad though that her BFF Sofia was sick and couldn't make it. Isa had a wonderfully special day. Thanks to all for making it so awesome!
