halloween fair

tonight (although another cold one), we layered the kids and took them out to Lagrange for their annual Halloween Fair. Uncle Joe and Uncle Charlie's band was playing (despite freezing hands)! The kids were in matching outfits and it was a good thing Tia Monika got them a "lil" too big so that we could put LOTS of layers underneath to stay warm! Gramma also joined in on the fun! we LOVE FALL!!!!

Last night the girls and I went out to dinner at Bar Symon, one of Micheal Symon's (2007's Iron Chef) restaurants to celebrate another baby shower. our group of 6 girls has been getting together since the kids were born more than 3 years ago and when Cheryl delivers her lil baby girl next month, it marks a true milestone... we will all have had 2 kids by then. Our lil group will have 12 kids (with more on the way) and an ever growing friendship too!!!





Today, the kids met for their weekly group activities and Audra was awesome and brought Halloween crafts for all to enjoy... I love this group!!!

first field trip

Will had his first ever school field trip today to Hillcrest Fun Farm. They learned how apples get from the tree to the market, had some fun in a hay maze, and went out to pick their own Red Delicious apples! Will had a great time, and I got a chance to meet his classroom "best buddy" Ethan!

it's a G I R L !!!!

ok, so we caved!!! our intent, and we were resolved until the appointment began, was to wait until Christmas to find out the gender of our newest lil miracle. However, she was so active and moving around, we just couldn't contain knowing and within 4 minutes into the BIG ultrasound it was revealed! We are being blessed with another lil girl! Will and Isa's lil "sharky" is now Gabriela Rose Sikora =) we are thrilled!

visit with Annie and trip to Patterson's Farm

This morning the kids finally got another chance to spend some time with lil cousin Annie. She waited for Will when he got home from school. They had fun but it was bittersweet seeing her leave. Oh what fun they kids had spending precious moments with all their cousins.






After the visit, Monika, Aidan, Andrew, Abuelita and our family headed to Patterson's Farm for their Fall Festival. This fall has been unusually cold and today was NO exception. We had the kids in about 5 layers of clothes to keep them warm!!! Once they got moving around, they seemed to be fine... although I have to admit that my hands were still cold about an hour after we got home... crazy!

fun, family, and a few friends.... PERFECT! Although it was a little cold outside, the warmth from all the love Isa had surrounding her was heaven sent. we are so blessed to have all of you in our lives (those that could make it and those that could not)!
